Epson 845 is a quality printer

Epson is and has always been a top brand in printers. This model 845 is no exception. It works. No jams. Fully functioned.

New Epsom Workforce 845

At this time of writing I have not done a great deal of printing. However I do feel able to comment on the machine.
The packing and package were well done. No less was expected.
The instructions concerning the unpackaging were superb (unusually clear and precise).
The main feature is to follow the instructions to the letter and not to leap ahead. If the instructions were precisely followed step one followed by step two and so on. Dop NOT leap ahead and there will be no problem.
The printing and the test printing were as clear as I have ever seen it - excellent!

Fantastic printer except for Scan Function

It's fast, it's sleek! This is a great printer, one of the best all-in-ones, except for one thing. Despite several hours of attempting to do so, I could not get the scan software to load. I am using Windows7 and expected it to be a straightforward installation. Instead of being able to use the built-in push button interface for scanning, I have to use other software. Epson really needs to fix this!

just received the printer today. set up was quick. copies are fast. scanner worked just fine. have not
attempted to hook up the fax yet (i don't really have a need for it) nor attempted to print photos. seems like it is sturdy enough to last a long time.
i guess i am used to your photo printers because i found this printer very noisy by comparison. all in all i am pleased.

I Love this all in one printer . Today I sent 75 pages in a fax . My wife used the scaner and copier for for girl scout meeting . After 3 uses it has already paid for itself. Great price and great printer.
