for an older guy,not to tech savvy, but this was a breeze,got it working just fine,copies were made,photos etc, in no time flat

Epson Workforce 845 Mac

I am not happy with this printer. I cannot get it to print consistently on my home network. I am annoyed that I cannot put envelopes in paper bin one and leave them there by selecting paper bin 2 and my primary bin for 11 x 8 paper. I see no way of doing this on the controls or software. The instructions for Mac are essentially non-existent. I have not had the time to troubleshoot the problems and do not want to take more time trying to get this thing to work properly. I have downloaded updated software and drives which do not seem to help much.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very pleased with my recent purchase. A couple of weeks ago I purchased the Epson XP300
and it just wasn't fast enough. Going with a refurbished Workforce 845 was a very good choice as I have a lot more machine for about $40 more dollars that the XP300. Thanks so much!

Work horse

Better than my artisan 810 in speed and performance. Fast printing and response time via wifi. High capacity ink also a plus. Only problem was adf and feeder - didn't last long, my artisan 810 broke just slightly a year of home light use, hopefully this one would last longer.

I have only had it one day but so far I LOVE it!
Easy to set up. Love the toudh screen, 2 paper trays as always epson printers are Great I now have 4.

Good printer, difficult setup

It took 3 hours to setup this printer. I am fairly tech savvy, but had to wade through a difficult process. I have a 64 bit machine and I needed to download new software from the Epson site. The FTP was slow, so it took a lot longer. HOWEVER, once it was setup, configuring the rest of my computers was a breeze. The epsonconnect feature to remote print is outstanding.

Great Printer

This printer is one of the best that I have over owned. Epson has finally solved the long initialization period that I had years ago when I had an earlier model. The software that is supplied and the intelligence programmed into the printer are great. As one brings the printer on-line all of the screens assist the owner take the correct steps.
I would recommend this to a friend!
