Epson WorkForce 845

Very Happy! I have a Mac and the software worked excellent as I'm always worried about this. All the setup worked on the first try. Everything was straight forward and user friendly. I just bought it so don't know about long term but have printed and scanned and very happy...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Set up was a piece of cake. Just from doing tests on the printer it seems to be very quick. Have not had opportunity to fax .

Disappointed with installation of CD

Setup of my Epson to my wirless access point went smoothly. The printer could even print out a connections page that displayed "PASS" for all connection tests. However, when installing the drivers from the CD, my new PC (Windows 7 64bit) could not find the printer. I tried repeatedly without success. Finally, I called support and after an hour they determined that I needed to download the newest drivers because of a recent Windows 7 64bit upgrade glitch. The new downloaded drivers work fine. Since I just installed the printer I cannot really say how much I love it or hate it...but I will be back to rate it in a month.

The best printer I have owned

I have to say that this is the best printer I have owned. It really doesn't matter how wonderful the features a printer has if it doesn't work consistently. This printer is the only one that consistently does what it's supposed to do. It's always reliable. It has good features also. It's the first EPSON printer for me, and I'm impressed. Thanks for the fine product, and keep up the good work.

Good on line help

In July my PC crashed. Augus 20 I got it going again. But Windows7 and Adobe Reader said everything was incompatible Fixed and redid my hard-drive. still a lot of incompatibles.I tried reinstalling my Workforce 845 Five times without
any luck.I when online and Epson got it running very fast and good.I'm so very happy now.

Fine except scanning

I thought this allowed for scanning several pages into the same file. It's not. I can run several pages through the document feeder but each page is saved separately.

Great printer, but.........

I have been using Epson printers since they started making them. Always have and still do think their photo print quality is the best. I just purchased a Workforce 845 and like everything about it, except,
It jams when I print card stock. The only heavyweight paper I have tried on this new printer is Avery 8871 Business Card stock. It jams just like my Workforce 630 before it.

After extensive review of similiar printers in the price range I settled on the 845.
Setup and configuration was easy - within 30 minutes I had 2 desktop computers, a laptop and an IPad printing without problems.
It 845 ships with the higher capacity cartridges - a great and unexpected feature.
Be sure you have a USB cord for initial set up - it makes the process much easier.
I would recommend this to a friend!
