15 year fan of Epson

My Workforce 845 is another top notch product from Epson. Very easy to setup, very easy to use, and a great printer at a great price. Epson has always had the lowest cost to use. Ink is reasonably priced and has a higher yield than most others.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The home touch screen, the fast duplex printing, the crisp quality of the color of the ink are great. The wizard-like, step-by-step prompts, allow for a smooth installation. The beauty of this printer is it can be on a wireless or wired network. This Epson is ready for work, and boy do I have a workload to put it through! I've yet to compare WorkForce845 to my decommissioned printers in regards to the usage of the ink, speeds and how well it handles the envelopes & jams. It's gotta do a great deal of what was advertised, right, consumers?

Great air printer but scanner is unacceptable

Unable to scan directly from the scanner to the computer without having to go back to the computer to adjust settings every time. Cannot scan just one page and have it appear as an image in an email. instead, the document takes up the entire area of the email. Cannot scan directly to email, must be scanned as a doc first and then attached. Copier is ok and printer works well. Air print from cell phone is excellent. I do not recommend to anyone looking primarily for a scanner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It took a bit of work to figure out how to configure this printer with my Mac, but now that it's set up, I love it! Prints automatically from my MacBook, iPhone and iPad.

The Best Inkjet Printer

I have owned Epson Products since Windows 98 was around. I am always purchasing the latest model when possible. While the Epson Workforce 845 is not a laser printer, it really comes close. I used to own the Epson AcuLaser CX11NF and honestly, that was my most favorite printer from Epson. I do miss the laser series but these new Workforce series do far more and produce excellent results. The inks last and when they do go out, they are truly inexpensive to replace. There is no need to buy generic. Thank you Epson for making products of superior quality and keeping your prices down to earth.

Well, I don't know where to begin, but to say, what a wonderful printer!!!! Best printer ever. I was in a bind to scan several documents when my previous printer whose name I won't mention, let me down. Long story short, I went on-line and read the reviews of this Epson printer, amazed!!!! I went to the store the next day made my purchase, set up the printer with my Apple computer with no problem, easiest set-up ever! The speed, unbelievable!!! The price affordable too. Documents scanned and emailed. Met my deadline!!! Thank you Epson.
P.S You were my very first printer, sorry for having an affair with that other company. I should have never left you.

Great and Inexpensive Machine

I bought this machine when a competitor's machine died after only two years of service.
The setup on my wireless network was easy. Just add it to your wireless access list then run the installation software. Couldn't be easier. I set it up on both Macs and Windows machines.
So far, I have not had any problems. The printer is very fast and the prints are clear and un-smudged with great color.
I think it is a plus that this unit ships with the expanded capacity cartridges.
I highly recommend this machine to the home user or small-business user without reservation.
