Just hooked up my Workforce 845, I have 2 desktops and 2 laptops. Windows 7, windows xp, also an imac, had no problems loading software on any of these OS. All print wirelessly once software was installed in computers. Also can print wirelessly with my iphone 4s. No software needed for iphone. I have verizon fios, verizon wireless routerworks great so far no problems. This printer is by far the best i have ever owned.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using Epson Printers for years. I have always liked that they have the individual color ink cartridges. This is my third Epson Printer purchase and so far I absolutely love it. I really liked the Workforce 600 that I replaced this with and this just adds to what I can do! The two feeding trays cut down on the number of times that paper has to be loaded. You can also have two different types of paper in it. The email feature that allows you to print from your cell phone is great! I also love the fact that it does double sided printing without my having to reload the paper.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer does more than any printer that I have ever owned.
I did a lot of research prior to my purchase. Most of the professional reviews rated this printer as the top AIO wireless printer. I also read a ton of user reviews and to me this is where the rubber really meets the road as far a real world usage goes.
Our family uses all kinds of Apple devices such as iPhones, iPads, iMacs and MacBook Pro. And guess what, everything just works. AirPrint is GREAT, it makes printing from an iDevice so easy.
I also like and have used the email (Epson Connect) print feature. This is the first printer that I have owned that included this feature and it works like a charm. It sends you an email to let you know if your document printed or if there was a print error and the document did not print. Epson Connect also keeps a log of all print jobs.
Wireless printing is the only way to go.
Aslo like the fact that the printer holds so much paper and uses the XL ink cartridges.

Good Overall Machine

I spent about 5 hours checking out printers online yesterday, and I kept going back to the EPSON WorkForce 845. It was by far the best rated multi-function printer by review and rating. All printers seemed to have drawbacks, varying from brand to brand, but the EPSON 845 kept rising to the top. I've only had it a few hours, but the setup went very well. I now have it installed by USB to my desktop (PC w/ Windows 7) and wirelessly connected to my laptop. I have printed complicated print jobs, single side and double sided, printed photos, and I have faxed as well. I'm a musician, and I printed music with lots of fine details, and the copies looked to be laser quality. The photos weren't quite up to the quality from the photo specialty printer I gave up on, but they were acceptable, and the cost of operating this machine will be much less than many I looked at. The fax worked like a charm. Overall, I think this will be a great addition to my home workstation.

Great Printer

The printer works great. Setup was easy, though a bit time consuming. Scanner works great, it says 30 pages but I inserted 40 with no problems. Black and white prints are great and fast and I haven't used color yet. Epson connect worked with no problems from my cell phone from another house. My only issue with the Epson Connect is that I cannot forward emails from an email forwareder. I have my own domain name and wanted to setup print@mydomainname.com and have it forward to my printer email, but an error occurs because Epson looks for a printer email of print@mydomainname.com. Not a big deal, but it was a matter of convenience. I love how I can leave a USB drive attached to the printer and map to it from my computer. Scanning worked perfectly to the USB drive and also straight to my computer. Haven't used fax, but plan on using it soon.

A lot for the money

I have mostly used Epson printers and lately "all-in ones". I have a WF-610 and it's been great but needed a 2-sided print option for work- printing real estate lists of homes for sale et al. Due to the complex nature of these lists, it takes a little while to print but since I changed to USB from network, it's better. All in all, a lot of bang for your buck.

I bought this printer because my old Epson was way too slow for my in home business. I was so impressed with it that I wanted to stay home and play on it all day:) It even prints both sides of the paper (when needed) without reloading it. I really love that feature. The print quality is awesome and the ink cartridges are even cheaper than my old printer. I'm very happy with my purchase!!

Terrific iOS compatibility with a great free app from Epson that allows you to scan and print directly to an iPad or iPhone. The dropbox/evernote/google docs/box integration of the app is terrific and very useful! You can print emails directly from the Mail app and don't need to go through Epson's app.
Haven't fully tested with OS X Lion yet...
