Great picture

This TV has a GREAT PICTURE with extremely comprehensive adjustments with menus and sub menus.Just about every picture parameter can be adjusted to suit. Size is great, unit runs cool which in typical Sony high end products lead to long life. That's the kudos....
Drawbacks are HORRIBLE sounding speakers. But most people, as myself, run the unit through a high end audio system with fantastic results. the two other bugaboos are a TV of this caliber deserves a better audio output jack, not a plastic flimsy one. The stand is a bit tipsy.. All considered a great tv and vidoe monitor which is what I bought it for.
As far as the smart tv part, I have not tried it yet.

This is the best Sony TV I have ever had Great picture if setting is on Vivid
To get the maximum picture quality, sound quality and tuning quality you will have to update the software. Once the software is updated to the current software version all bets are off.
The only problem I have is the sound is still not of great quality even with the 7 band equalizer. I guess a software fix might be on the way. All in all this is just SONY TV the best all my friends are just wow about my TV

Nice Picture, Solid Colors, feast for the eyes.
Compared this to Samsung at few different stores and picture quality on this is superior.
Haven't had a chance to test the 3D or play with advanced settings.
Took one star out for it takes a little while when you initially start up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lithe, sexy, flat, thin, razor sharp, excellent framerates, bright and colorful even in a bright room. Compared all tvs in this price range in HH Gregg, and the Sony was clearly a more accurate, higher quality picture. This baby will fly nicely for a few years until 4k comes into it's own with better tvs and more 4k content.
