Wonderful Picture

Wonderful picture even with 3D. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is because the 3D glasses are active and not passive.

Great TV, fantastic picture, great smart TV features, loving it. One issue, comes with Amazon Prime Instant Video on the featured list, yet it is not available yet.... cryptic message has been replaced by a friendlier one.

Love the picture and features

The picture has great quality and I love the options of having Netflix, Amazon prime and other internet feeds directly accessed from my TV. Netflix does not load during a movie as did an internet 'ready DVD player. The accessing and loading prior to a movie starting is fast. I am very pleased with

Flawed backlighting design

Overall, the TV works just fine. The picture is great, except when the screen is blank (white) or the camera is panning across a light background color. Take a look at the attached photo of a blank screen. It illustrates vertical banding. The dark areas indicate inadequate backlighting. Most of the time, you won't notice it because the video present masks it. The only way that you can get rid of the problem is to exchange the set for a model that doesn't exhibit the problem, namely a more expensive 4k model with full-array backlighting. The 70" model is even worse as it may exhibit radial banding. No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Purchase

Bought this tv after an expected loss of my last tv. I love the wedge shape design of this tv, its stable, sturdy, and overall has great structure. The tv has excellent image in my bright living room, the matte finish helps keep glare and reflections to a minimum. The colors and black levels are solid. The more I watch this tv, the more I love it. Great purchase, would definitely buy it all over again.

Great Purchase

This Sony TV is great. The only reason i gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because I think Sony can improve on the TV's stand. Otherwise, the picture is great. I've only had this TV for 2 months, but hoping to get enjoyment from this TV for a long time.
