BEST TV I EVER OWNED

Best Smart and 3D TV has a brilliant interface compared to other models in its class. The picture is amazing look as sharp and crisp as any 4K. If your looking for a new TV stop looking and buy this model

Excellent Picture

I originaly purchased a Sharp - AQUOS Q Series - 60" but the picture was not all that good, I was supprised with 4K ability. Also it could not add additional applications such as Amazon Prime movies.
So I switched to the Sony W850B and WOW what a great picture, better than I'v seen in any 60 inch TV.
Very good audio especially attached to my stereo system.
Very easy to use remote and easy TV setup and configuration.
The unit is slim doesn't even get warm, unlike my old Toshiba.
I love this TV...............

Great TV

Our former main TV was a 55". My brother-in-law has this same model and I've always admired the picture. When the other unit went on the fritz, I needed to replace it. Sony was my first choice. It was extremely easy to setup and the peripherals went together very well and operate perfectly. This TV has a breathtaking picture. We do a lot of recording and watch old shows and movies. It also has a beautiful 3D function so I have begun collecting a few things filmed in that format. The Smart function is perfect and works very well with our internet system. Although we have a 7.1 Theater System, we use the Sony's speakers almost exclusively - they are excellent. I would buy this same Sony model again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent - So Far

So far, excellent. The remote takes a bit of getting used to. The two concentric ring buttons are too close and cause some confusion. I've had a 40" Sony Bravia for about 8 1/2 years with never a single problem. That's why, when we decided we needed 60 inches, we went Sony.

The picture quality, features and functionality of this TV are top notch. The only concerns I have and none of them are reason to degrade my overall rating are (1) The rubber feet on the stand move or come off to easily (adhesive and feet should be of better quality). (2) Viewing off axis you do loose a little of the picture quality but is to be expected. (3) The unit comes with a 10/100 Ethernet port and not a 10/100/1000 Ethernet port. In todays digital world where speed and transfer rates are a big concern it seems as though this would be a no brainer.(the unit should come standard with a gigabit Ethernet port).
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this TV and have had it about a month now. I was initially going to get the 630 Model but decided to go for this one and I couldn't be happier!
I was replacing an old 60" Sony and had done a TON of research on various brands since things have changed but my old Sony TV had lasted so long and took so much "abuse" so to speak I decided to stick with what I knew was good.

The picture quality is fantastic! I haven't really messed with the settings too much as I read on a few sites some recommended settings but it arrived set-up well in this area.
I have the TV in my living room so it's been on a lot! The matte screen really helps with glare and the TV is right near a sliding glass door so there's a lot of light coming in!
The sound is not as good as the older style TV's but better then others I saw in stores! I purchased a sound bar and that took care of that!
It looks great and even though I would have NOT purchased 3D this model only came with it, so I went and bought the DVD "Avatar" which was fun to watch. I think it's something which is cool but a gimmick and probably won't use too often. Glasses worked perfect and fit well.
Love the Netflix button and the ease of use of the menu in general.
It's so nice to have a new TV which works great, looks great and was delivered on schedule and set-up fast!
Haven't really messed around with the apps much but there are plenty to choose from.
This is a quality TV and I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Great TV, awesome color balance, looks great in daylight, we have huge light filled living room, and night time. But my favorite is the sound. Great speaker means I don't have to turn on home theater all the time. Just football and movies. Also love all the apps the come along with it. Love this!
