Great Machine

I'm new to the digital TV world. I've cut the cable and switched to a TV antenna, the internet and DVD's for my viewing needs. This unit is great for the internet (video and radio) and DVD's. I am not computer savvy, but the player was easy to learn and tie to my WIFI at home. I was especially attracted to this unit because it offered Amazon Prime (which I belong to) and some other players do not. Love it so far after 3 months use. Also love the USB jack on the front of the player so I can easily play my own music and videos.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It works perfectly fine once you update it. Except I have been having issues with it turning on. About every 3 to 4 times I have to unplug the cord from the back and plug it back in in order for it to turn on. It's a simple fix and it could just be mine, but overall it's good!

Purchased this a couple of weeks ago. Setup was quick and easy, and I love how it turns my television into a 'smart' one. Watching Netfilx could not be easier. I haven't even explored all the apps that come with it yet. Plays both my blu ray and regular dvds with a nice clear sharp picture. The unit itself is a nice size.

I bought this not realizing that I couldn't hook it up straight to a standard TV. However once I got the converter box and the cable everything was great. It plays well. It's easy to use when accessing streaming accounts like Netflix or Amazon Prime. The wireless router is sensitive enough to pick up a strong signal even though the main router is upstairs and this is set up in a near basement-like fully finished room. It's smaller than my other Sony Blu-ray, which is nice. The clicker is not as nice as the other one, but still easy to use. It plays my stuff that I've burned onto blank DVD's just like they were factory made. Not all players do that well with them.

Too many settings, Some of them made the device stop working. Turn off Gracenote. Keep the device "ON." For $75 it is a good value.

I use wire network connection for the 4K Ultra Hi-Definition TV XBR55X900B and 3D Streaming Blu-ray Disc to gain very high speed.
And for the last, buy a very high speed router and big box of popcorn.
Enjoy, the On Demand TV era, including the Netflix.
