First under system settings, make sure that option "quick start" is set to OFF, once you verified that quick start is OFF
Turn OFF the player wait about 5 seconds for the player to fully power down then For ZONE A press the YELLOW button on the remote For ZONE B press the BLUE button on the remote For ZONE C press the RED button on the remote Turn ON the player and insert your disc
When switching between BD zones you will not see or heard anything this is normal, the player however is always listening to IR commands from the remote control. Make sure the player is OFF before you press any buttons and make sure the quick start is also set to OFF

Fast loading movies on bluray. We had a old bluray player and it takes about 10mins to load movie.Nice to have WiFi streaming Netflix nice.No buffering issues we can recall overall very pleased
I installed it downstairs and I was surprised how nice it worked! The Wi-Fi connection is from a 3 year old router and it worked better than I thought it would. We watched a DVD movie and the controls from the unit did great compared to the junky Samsung I destroyed with my foot after it would not even put up the menu so I could play the disk. I took the top off of it and cleaned the laser and it still did not work. It was an older one that was not used much at all. The Sony was small but had a lot of features. I was able to watch videos from the Internet with no stutter. The only thing I did not like about it was the shape of the top. I had to use rubber grommets to put our X1 Comcast box on top so it would stay. The Comcast box is smaller so it had to go on top. It was like $ 80.00 and was worth the price.
Blue Ray player works great with Blue Ray disc's and DVD's. The wireless did not work at all. We finally gave up and "hard wired" it to our internet modem, which works fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello scmartin! Thank you for bringing this to our attention, if you decide to use the wireless connections in the future please try the steps available through the following link to solve the issue :
For the price you are not going to get a more stylish, compact, 3D Blue-Ray player anywhere. Period... I couldn't be more happier with it. I use it to watch IMAX 3D documentaries and the picture is absolutely astonishing on my 65" Sony 4K TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased the Sony Blue Ray Disc player (BDP S5200) in order to view internet content on my television. Entering information to access internet content is cumbersome and time consuming with the remote control. There is a screen mirroring feature that would make eliminate this problem, IF I could access it. The Wi Fi connection process to access screen mirroring asks for a password. I searched and entered any and every number on the box and instructions with no results. I contacted customer service, asking where I might find the password, or if they could provide one. Customer service told me the player was not compatible with any of my devices ( Apple ipad, iPhone, droid phone, and PC) I am disappointed to say the least.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Blu-ray player can't read all formats as indicated in the specification section from USB external hard drive. With no cursor indicator and poor internet browser software, searching online is impossible.
