It has worked well up until a few weeks ago. It makes noises when playing a blue ray or dvd. Also the streaming is slow and does not work on all the streaming options, like amazon prime, hulu, and the some of the music streaming, like pandora. I was dissapointed that those options are advertised but do not work. I have an older model sony blue ray, and those work on it. Now when im watching you tube, it freezes then the player turns off. I haven't even had it a year and im all ready experiencing problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have only had for one week but played OK. It is very small but then again my old DVD player had five slots. It seems a little flimsy. When you open, you press down on small piece on top. It won't work for you if you can't get at top of unit. Weird place to put it. I would rather see a button or something. It's only plastic

If you have Triluminos...you NEED this!

This is a great DVD player! The main focus I wanted was bluray. Bluray with triluminos. To me-the color is much more apparent and beautiful! There's a bigger range and its great for these movies with fantastic landscapes. And it does exactly that! The menus are easy to navigate and the response is snappy. It loads up the blurays perfectly. With Bravia Sync all I do is open up the dvd player, load it up, and hit go. And the dvd player does the rest!
I really enjoy this sony product and think that sony may have a winner here.

Easy connection and setup. Up with Wi-Fi in seconds with no problems. Picture clarity is great and fast start to Blu-Ray disc is really fast, almost it seems as fast as regular DVDs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought one in June - it lasted 2 months and quit working. Took it back and got another one. So far so good. Hope this one lasts longer than the other one. Usually Sony has great products.
