Better than expected

I bought this because my old Blu-Ray player had died and couldn't be fixed. I wanted one that had good streaming functionality. So far, this has been really good. It has many different streaming options and we are taking advantage of several of them. The actual playback of BluRay and DVD is also really good.

Excellent choice for a budget 3D Blu-ray player

I purchased the BDP-S5200 when my last 3D-capable Blu-ray player decided to stop working. I have since found little reason to regret purchasing this model, as it delivers everything I could want from a 3D-capable unit. I noticed a slight audio sync problem when switching between tracks in the same language, but pausing playback briefly solves this. Other than that, the player is a beauty, with only a few shortcoming that I find I can live with.

I love my new Blu-ray player. It has the wireless streaming so that I don't have to have a separate box to watch my Netflix and Amazon Video. It took me a while to get use to it, but now I love it. I would recommend this to anyone.

Its a fine machine. Plays regular dvd's and the pictures are clear. Blue ray disc are also nice on this machine. But sometimes you have to unplug the machine and reboot it.

I like my Sony product. I wish it came with instructions on all the available applications. Under the video section when I rent a movie it is always reconnecting. A 2 hour movie takes 4. I have Comcast so there shouldn't be any issues.
