BDPS6200 BluRay DVD Player

Easy to operate, excellent picture quality, upgrades regular dvd's to look like blu-ray. Very happy with this machine -
Con: once in a great while the sync between voice and picture is off by a hair (but hardly noticeable).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lots of fun bells and whistles in addition to superior picture and sound. The main drawback...having only HDMI out prevents me from connecting audio to my older Sony receiver.

It looses Netflix, Hulu, etc sign in information when the unit is off. TlIt disconnect from power too often. The unit can not be turn on remotely. In summary, all the great features are nulled by this power problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent product that had major software but that prevented wifi access. This prevented download of software update. Required level 5 tech to walk me thru manual update of software using USB thumb drive. Took approx 1 week to obtain full functionality.

BDP-S6200 freezes up

I purchased this not for the 4K upscaling. After a week or so I noticed that when I would try and pause or stop either a DVD, Bluray or even streaming the player wouldn't respond to the remote. If you try to shut the unit off, it tries and then sits and blinks OFF over and over. The only way to get it to work again is to unplug the unit. I tried factory reset with no results I exchanged the unit and the new one has exactly the same issue. I love sony products but their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. Just hope you never have to call customer service!!! Still no fix!!!!!!

worst dvd player i ever bought

I had problems with the first one sent it back and the service was terrible and it took 3 weeks to get a replacement and it does the same thing and that is it starts to shudder and then freezes up and the only way to fix it is unplug it and start over from scratch and I would not recommed to anyone to buy it or you will be very dissatisfied as I am!!!!!!
