Great, compact and efficient unit!

I was looking for an all-inclusive, Wi-Fi, Blu-ray player with more apps and this is almost perfect. It is easy to operate, movies and apps load quickly and the picture is wonderful. My only negative is that the instructions don't tell the user how to upload other apps to it -- I'm not sure if this is possible but it seems that it should be.

Overall very good, just hard to see or get used to button locations, for old Farmer hands. The quality and fetures for price are OUTSTANDING!

The player works great, but it does make a lot of noise as it is starting up. DVDs look great on it too.

Player connected to HD Receiver by HDMI cable only outputs PCM sound instead of DTS HD-Master Audio. What's wrong?

Hi Pierre,
To fix this, on your Sony Blu-ray Player, go to Menu> Settings> Audio Settings> BD Audio MIX Setting> Set it to Off. Also, it's important that your Stereo Receiver is compatible with this HD Audio format. -Vincent
The features of this disc player are nice. Set up is easy. It's quiet. Loads info quickly. Unfortunately there's been some problems using the remote. Making a mistake like pressing two buttons consecutively will completely confuse the unit. No path with be taken and have been left just waiting, for minutes on end, but cannot get to the HOME feature. When pressing OFF to reboot, the display will blink OFF indefinitely and cannot restart it. This has happened numerous times, the only resolution is to unplug the unit. Somewhere there's a glitch in the command programming.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
