Power switch didn't work

The Blu-ray was easy to set up and had many great features. Unfortunately, however, the power switch worked intermittently, so it was returned to the retailer within 14 days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Main reason for purchase was to get a blueray that worked with MLB streaming. It was listed and I have had good results with prior Sony products. Works well in all respects.

Updated my blu-ray player to a Sony.

My old dvd player was not performing as it should. I purchased a new Sony Blu-ray player with Wi-Fi . Now I can stream movies from my phone or from the internet. could not be happier with my purchase.

This Blu-Ray player, which was updated from an older one, works great. I only updated because I got a couple of errors of unable to read from discs which required updated software. This one is wireless and has already informed me of an available software update, and performed it quickly. It works great with Netflix, Crackle, Hulu, Amazon, Sony... All wirelessly. I have Verizon, and there is very little buffering. Maybe 30 seconds for a movie to load initially, and that's all!

Easy hook-up!

Easy to hook up to our fairly new smart TV, especially for this not-so-tech-savvy consumer. And it works like it's supposed to. We can't ask for more.
I have had my Blue/Ray player for 8 months. As far as the DVD player that works Great. The Smart part you us to access the internet SUCKS!. After 3 months I was having to re-log-in to my Netflix, Hulu Plus etc.every week or so . Then at 5 months internet access was gone altogether. now I just it for the DVD`s and use my Roku for internet access.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
