Probably the best out there

Fantastic to play video files in their native formats, and this plays most.
Files do exist that are non standard and can be converted to play.
Greatly enjoy watchng Youtube videos (free) away from the computer. It is impractical to use fast forward in a long (Youtube) video. .As I don't plan to use another device to help navigate the web, without a mouse it will be of limited use, and I expected better dispaly on my 32" flat screen. As for music, this device, lke most Sonys kniws to play the whole MP3 CD or DVD, not just one folder, and it's nice to see the whloe title. The trade off is when one song is playing you don't see the others. WiFi set up quickly and worked well. For $50 an free shipping on Black Friday, this is a no-brainer.

When the machine works, it works well. I had to call and have your technicians do a reset of the machine because I was unable to use it with my Netflix account. The machine also takes too long to connect with my Wi-Fi (about 30 seconds) I also lose connectivity on occasion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

An Excellent Blu-ray Disc Player

An excellent Blu-ray disc player. I upgraded from my previous Sony Blu-ray disc player which was 9 years old. Very pleased with the new one.

This player was incredibly easy to set up and is just as easy to use. I replaced my Toshiba Bluray player and the Sony is night and day better. My Sony even cost less!!

It is an excellent machine. I've always had good luck with Sony products. This Blu-ray disc player with Wi-Fi is easy to install and make work. The directions are simple and clear. Most importantly, they work. If given choice of a product and Sony makes same product, I usually purchase the Sony product given the reilability of the products(s) over the years and the simple, easy to follow directions.
