Great product. We considered other brands but chose this one because Sony has an excellent reputation in electronic merchandise. Excellent value. Easy set up and operation.
Love it. I'd love it even more if it had a standard rca audio out. I had to buy an adapter since my old receiver didn't have a digital coax audio input and the digital coax cord too. Also, would it kill ya to put in an HDMI cord?
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello embo9! Thank you for your feedback, unfortunately the only models similar to this unit that comes with an HDMI cordsupplied are BDP-BX120, BDP-BX320, BDP-BX520.

Great Purchase

I truly love my player. Allot of applications to choose from. I would give a five star but when playing some blue ray discs it seems to freeze from time to time.

I was replacing a DVD player that was having internet problems. I know Sony has great products. I found this player and a great price with all the features that I was looking for. I have been very happy since purchasing this item.

Not Like Sony Used To Be

Bought this when the my old TV with DVD player died. Also wanted to use it for streaming music and movies. DVD player works great. Every time I wanted to listen to music, or stream a movie, it would ask if I wanted to connect to the internet, followed by a LONG signing in process. Spent HOURS on the phone trying to fix this bug. Finally, I sent it back and they replaced it with another. Same problem. Recently there was a software upgrade and the problem MAY be solved. It remains to be seen. Sony just did not seem to care that this was THEIR problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice Blu-ray player

I purchased this blu-ray player to replace my ancient X-Box that I have been using as a DVD player. I selected this specific model solely for the fact that it was advertised to work with Amazon Prime. I see older reviews stating they were unable to use Prime, but it has been working for me since I purchased it on 4/13. The Prime software on this is more elaborate than my old Roku's, but it's also slower to use.
This is my first blu-ray player, but I am happy with how my DVDs player better on this.
I do wish I could use the two TV related buttons on my Samsung tv.
