Disappointed that I have to reconnect to the internet each time I turn it on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for your comment. We noticed you are experiencing some difficulties with the internet connection.
The Internet connection speed can vary for many reasons. Below are the most common causes: *Network Sharing *Wireless Connection Strength *Router Type *Connection to Your ISP
Depending on the file size of the video clip you are watching, it is possible that some video may pause and go into buffering mode when playing. This does not normally occur with short video clips, but long video clips may require additional buffering time. It is generally caused by a slow Internet connection speed.
NOTE: A connection speed of 2.5 Mbps or higher is recommended for streaming standard definition (SD) Internet video, and a connection speed of 10 Mbps or higher is recommended for streaming high definition (HD) Internet video.
It does everything that I want it to do quickly, easily. From the initial installation and setup to the trouble free everyday use. The quality is superb.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I use it to watch Netflix in my bedroom-works great!
I received this Blu-Ray player as a Christmas gift. It has performed flawlessly. I also like the built-in web interface to access both paid and free programming through the unit. So far, so good!
My old components (10 plus years), amp, DVD player, TV were assembled over several years, all Sony components, but matched because digital was not the norm at that time. Now when I look at what I have assembled I wonder why I waited so long to change. The BD player was purchased with the new receiver so that the connections made would match the entire setup. Sony designed system components to be intuitive, the connection and setup was almost automatic. Outstanding components, quality workmanship and Sony know how make this a system that cannot be beat. Beautiful performance and ease of use make this BD player the way to go.
Product shows blue rays in fine quality which is good but the main reason I purchased it was to stream Netflix etc. I couldn't get that to work properly with WiFi even though it connected to the network. After weeks of research and failed attempts I broke down and bought a streaming box and it was the easiest thing to set up. So I should have just bought a cheap blue ray that didn't have WiFi and I'd have been much better off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello jream21,
We apologize or any inconvenience cause by this unit and would like to recommend to try the steps available through the following link before you try this steps make sure that your download speed is no less than 2.5 mbps to be able to play standard content or 10 mbps for HD content :
No more waiting for the player to open or close for fifteen or twenty seconds, no programming, no frustration. Great innovation and so small it fits anywhere!
