It works very well for price. Only thing I don't. Like is it goes into a sleep mode after awhile. Haven't found how to stop that. Also I don't know why but with Netflix it has to go through a three step internet test first
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broke after 2 months

I bought the Blu-ray player, Model BDP-S3200 on 9/1/14 and just loved the Wi-Fi features to stream movies, TV shows, etc. and it was so easy to set-up. It worked perfectly until 1/1/15, exactly 4 months after purchase, it stopped working at all. The disc drawer won't open and the player does not respond to the remote even after new batteries have been installed. I tried calling the Sony service number, and punching the menu numbers called for and was disconnected. I called right back and was told my call didn't got through, try again later. Most of my electronic purchases have been Sony products, so I am very disappointed with the product and lack of service..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Little Blu-ray

Love the Wi-Fi, love the Apps, love the quality of playback, loved the price. Only problem I am having is that, occasionally, it won't power off unless I unplug it.

Excellent Blu-Ray /DVD player

Fully compatible with my three Sony Brava HDTV 40" and 32" TV's. Love being able to use Sony SYNCH feature to easily control the players operation and quick return to regular TV viewing. The player is very quick in loading and playing disks. Control is also very convenient and hookup was fairly easy. Sony makes great products and has beautiful led displays. I now own two of these BDP S3200 and am very happy with their performance and reasonable cost and SONY support for all my SONY products. These units make it very easy to log on to the internet and popular apps.
