SONY Blu-ray Disc player doing fine

I am always amazed by manufacturers that request a review only weeks after you have purchased the product, when it is essentially brand new. So far it works magnificently and was very easy to get started given excellent instruction and prompts. Ask me again in a year or two, when I can no longer play newer Blu-ray discs due to poor service in software updates as has been my experience with other unnamed sources. Bottom line is that it is too early to make a complete and worthwhile assessment.

A good disc player with some drawbacks

The player is great for DVD and Blu-Ray playback. As for the many options for connecting to other content sources, it's not as useful as my PS3 was. Often, the BDPS3200 will wait to download new content from the network, which takes a long time, before connecting to Netflix, for example. It has only the most rudimentary ability to play photos and audio from a DLNA source. For example, you can't make playlists, you can only use the lists it generates itself. So far it has been reliable and its compact form factor has freed up room in my media cabinet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is an excellent product, surprising how much technology can be compacted into such a small unit.
Very easy setup and easy to use.
Would suggest more info regarding the remote, a lot of buttons that require Googling their usage.
Love the feature when a disc is inserted it automatic changes the TV for ready to play the disc.
The player is very sophisticated that it will play many disc that have noticeable surface issues, strong laser.
