Works well - hate controller

The blu ray and internet work well but the remote is tiny has no lighting so you have to end up hitting the wrong button on the remote constantly or you have leave a light on. It is hard to believe Sony is so short sighted to do something that stupid to save small change on the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I haven't purchased a new DVD player in years, so I was very pleasantly surprised at all the advances made with this wireless blu-ray disc player. I can review my emails on the TV screen, order Netflix, and a host of other things.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as good as my old one

The only reason we replaced our former DVD/BluRay (model SR500H) was because we needed a "smart" version to connect with Netflix. The older version was actually smarter as a DVD player - it just wasn't internet compatible. This one is...OK.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very electronically challenged, and even I had no trouble installing it. The only glitch was no HDMI cord included. Once I got hooked up with Netflix and Amazon I am in Heaven!

We use this mostly for playing DVDs and BluRay disks for the grandkids. Works very well! Also play music CDs. The unit has a lot of additional technology and functionality ( streaming movies, surfing web) that we can't use, since we don't have unlimited wifi/Internet. Remote and some of the functions take some getting used to. Overall, very satisfied!
