Blu-Ray Movies

Bought this Item in anticipation of receiving many Blu-Ray movies for Xmas. So have not utilized it much BUT did get to play Lord Of The Rings- Fellowship Of The Ring & was blown away at the audio & video presented. Looking forward to more fantastic movies.

I have had a good experience with this product, but the remote to it is cheesy. This means with a little fine tuning it would be the best.

Somewhat disappointed

Nice size. Just set it up so haven't really used it yet. Most disappointed that Sony no longer makes any Blu-Ray DVD playerstha have RCA audio out jacks. It makes hooking up to an older amp impossible. Such a shame. I was going to return it until I realized that Sony has nothing that meets my need. Oh well, I will just have to depend on the HDTV's speakers!

Apps are worthless

I cannot delete any of the pre-installed apps... I really dont need Russian, german, latin, etc tv and the PBS/kids app I really want are two that I cant get I dont want most of the 100+ "apps" being that I mainly use Amazon/Netflix. I bought this thinking I could get the two additional apps that we really use..... I dont know about other blu rays but I sure wont buy another sony one
