Has more than I expected never had WI Fi before.when I downloaded the up dates lot of stuff in it good bang for the buck

great dvd player.downloads movies quicker than previous models i have owned. easy to use remote and player. i would highly reccomend this over the samsung(s) that i had tried before. buy a sony first and you will not have any regrets!

I wish we would have invested in a higher priced player. This one has an extremely slow interface, netflix always has trouble connecting and takes several attempts to get it to load. It's very frustrating. We exceeded our return period for best buy, or else I would have taken it back and gotten a better one or tried a different brand.

Hello Jsquared85! We would like to recommend to try the following steps to set the DNS number manually to help with the network connectivity :
Primary DNS 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4
• Press the HOME button on the remote commander while the unit is ON.
• Press the LEFT ARROW until you select the SETUP icon.
• Press the DOWN ARROW until you find the NETWORK SETTINGS
• Press ENTER (Middle button on the directional circle with arrows).
• Select INTERNET SETTINGS, press ENTER.
• Select WIRELESS, press ENTER.
• Select MANUAL REGISTRATION or ADD A NEW ADDRESS then Manual, press ENTER
• Verify that it has the SSID (name of your network) press the arrow to the right to continue.
• Press arrow to the right to skip encryption type (WEP, WPA, etc) since it should already have an option selected.
• Press arrow to the right to skip password entry.
• Select MANUAL or CUSTOM, press ENTER.
• Select AUTO for IP address setup, press arrow to the right to continue.
• Select SPECIFY for DNS settings, press ENTER.
• Enter DNS primary and secondary. Press ENTER
• Press RIGHT ARROW to continue
• Select NO for proxy, press right arrow.
• Press right arrow again and select SAVE AND CONNECT.

good for price but u get what u pay for

I have had the device for a month and use it a few times a week. the streaming on it is slow and tedious. the remote is not intuitive when streaming I compare it to my roku and no comparison the roku is much better for streaming. at times after streaming for a few hours the device stops responding to the remote requiring a hard reset which is annoying. its a bluray with built in WiFi for streaming and it provides those services for a cheap price.
I would recommend this to a friend!
