Worst Cook-top

We brought this cook-top as a package provided by our builder in the new single family home we moved in November 2015 and I can stay from my experience, that this is the worst cook-top I have seen/cooked on till date. The Matte black heavy-cast grates look good. But if the tip of the inner blue flame (hottest/highest point of the fire) doesn’t even meet the cookware, what’s the use of the stove? The flame never does come close to the cookware leading to massive heat loss and gas waste.
I can live with scratches /stains/etc., but if it takes forever/too long to cook any dish , what should be done? As a mother of 2 girls , I can say we will never buy.
Can you please help us. I wish some one from GE appliances contacts me. This stove is a nightmare for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE 36" Cooktop

I purchased to GE 36" Profile Series Cooktop because I had a earlier generation version that had served me well for many many years. So, going with a newer version was a no brainer. I remember thinking when I bought the first one, how easy it would be to clean and maintain. This edition is much easier. Also, I like that the knobs light up when they are on. This is a safety feature as well as making it easier to see the knob position.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This range made my kitchen complete. I bought all the slate GE products, fridge, dishwasher, oven and microwave. The slate range wasn't available yet but this range was a very close match. It is easy to clean and having small grand kids I love the locking features. I also like the lights on the knobs when in use.

tHIS PRODUCT HAS VERY GOOD FEATURES

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only problem are the grates. for a small 76 year old woman, they are a little too heavy. The product was purchased via computer, not physically touched before instsllation.

LOVE MY COOKTOP

Used my new cooktop last night for the first time and found no problems that others complained about. Water boiled quickly and veg sautéed just fine. I love the look of the burners. I had all GE Profile appliance and wanted to update, glad I did.
