I love the sturdiness, look and features of this product! I especially love the fact that the knobs can be locked for safety reasons.

This was a replacement model for a gas range that was damaged during a kitchen renovation project. We were skeptical about the look and design but after installation, we love this range. It is very industrial looking and we love that GE moved the "power burner" to the middle instead of being on the right side of our older one, where when using large pots blocked usage of the burner behind it. We also really like how the knobs light up when in use - a great safety feature. And, water heats up very quickly, just as quickly as on our old one, so the new grate design hasn't affected the performance of this range at all in our opinion. We are very happy with this product!

Sensitive stovetop but Burners are impressive!

Great burners! love the middle power burner and the amount of space has not left any cooking problems especially while making nice meals for the family. One upside and downside are the nice big and heavy steel cooking grates - Absolutely great feel and holds onto the pots and pans great, but be careful cleaning. The stainless needs a bit of cleaning (each meal unless you have a liner to protect the stainless steel cooktop) and one thing that was hard is how heavy the grates are and will scratch the stainless as you're trying to line up the grates after cleaning. It's a bummer but lesson learned :(

nice gas cooktop but beware

We have had our cooktop for 6 months, we are already replacing the knobs. They have springs in them, when you remove them to clean the springs fall out and do not always reset. Its a shame they do not last more than 6 months.
