Best Smart Phone on the Market!!! Used Blackberry for work during the last 15 years, Samsung has taken the best of all smart phones on the market and squeezed them all into the Samsung Galaxy S II.
I have the Galaxy S and upgraded to the S2 as I very much liked the S. Unfortunately the S2 failed where the S succeeded for me in the most critical area ... phone use at home. The S would give me 3, or 4 bars of signal strength at home. The S2 only gives me 1, or 2 bars of signal strength. The other party cannot hear me, and I hear them choppy. The S did just fine, and when I move the SIM card back to the S phone, the phone connection works just fine. While the S2 works just fine for me in 95% of the locations I go, in the most critical, my home, it fails miserably.
I like the bigger screen and the navigation/map applications on the S2 over the S, but miss the Tracking application that was on the S, even though it was not very accurate. I find the bigger screen and Navigation application provides excellent route directions to get me where I want to get.The unit talks to me, so I can keep my eyes on the road. Excellent GPS.
The camera on the S2 is a definite improvement over the S camera in my opinion. I find I do not need to carry another camera with me for those unexpected photo opportunities.
The S2 is a definite step up from the Galaxy S with the exception of the main reason I have a phone at home, worse signal strength than the Galaxy S.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast
Cons: poor signal strength
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my GS2, I had one issue where the first home creen would freeze, no longer having that issue, my only wish is that the phone be a little bigger and/or change the size of the keyboard keys to make text messaging a lot easier. They came close to fixing that issue with the GS3. Other than that, this is my favorite phone thus far.
I love this phone like there is no tomorrow!! Its so smooth and sleek! No Lag issues unlike my pass other brand phones! Samsung is the #1 in the world in electronics i cant stop thinking about it!
