The design is the best in terms of size, weight and thickness. I was expecting the Galaxy s lll to have similar design.

I WILL RECOMMEND NEW SAMSUNG PHONES SHOULD BE DESIGNED AS THE GALAXY S II, BECAUSE IT REALLY AN ENVY TO SOME I-PHONE USERS. IN MY OPINION IT WILL CAPTURE SOME OF THE I-PHONE MARKET. THE GALAXY S III AS A BIT TOO BIG, AND AND FLIMSY. GREAT FEATURE WILL HAVE PERFECTLY MATCHED WITH THE DESIGN OF GALAXY S II OR THE ROCKET
Pros: Durable, great design
I would recommend this to a friend!

Upgrade from Galaxy S

This is my second Android phone the first being a Samsung Captivate. The reason I upgraded to the Galaxy S II primarily was for the faster processor, the camera flash, and the forward facing camera. The latter two being unavailable on the Captivate. Having owned this phone for several months now, I can honestly say I'm pretty impressed. I think it will be a while before I upgrade again especilly now that I am running ICS.
When I first got this phone I loved it. That was in December of 11. Now we are in July of 12 and the phone is starting to act weird. It will trun it's self off or restart without me touching it. It freezes a lot. The people at the att tech support told me to delete all of my apps and start by adding one by one back to see which one is causing the problem. My thought on that is these phone should be able to handle whatever we put on them. I don't know if is the phone or service.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!

the galaxy s2 is one of the fastest phones out i wouldnt trade it for anything i had the galaxy s when it first came out that phone had alot of problems and i said i would never get a samsung phone again but then my wife got the galaxy s2 and i played with and i had get one asap but now i cant wait to get a s3
In general, I like this phone. I can get my corporate email, IM. Does well at a lot of the "smart" phone things. I do not think it is a particularly great phone, passable but not great. I recently picked up a HM7000 bluetooth which seems to help voice quality. The speakerphone is loud enough and I have been told the quality on my end is good. The GPS is excellent. The ICS update took too long to get out to the public. Battery life needs to be managed to make last more than day.
Pros: processing power
Cons: conversation quality on phone
I would recommend this to a friend!

The original phone I received had an overheating problem that drained the battery in minutes. It was replaced under warranty by ATT with a refurbished unit. It works well but the battery is not capable of providing a full 24 hours of normal use..
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my first smartphone. I upgraded from the Solstice to this phone and I'm pretty happy with all of the bells and whistles. I'm glad I waited until this phone came out. I've had mainly Samsung cellphones and they've all worked well. GSIII is very easy to get started and there's plenty of apps to choose from. It's a good size, great viewing screen, great software....the only thing is I wish the battery charge would last longer, but I guess that's what I'll have to live with considering all the things this phone will do.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to use
