Excellent hardware with above average Software

Have been using GS2 for 6+ months. No complains about the hardware (cpu, camera, storage, screen, etc.) The only thing is the back cover is kind of slippy, at lease for me. I can't get a firm grip when using one hand holding the phone and pressing the unlock code. Problem solved by adding a rubber case.
TouchWiz is above average and I really like to side to side scroll instead of the up and down like other brand. The only problem I have is the Samsung App - Media Hub. The stock one worked perfectly fine and the video contect was really good. But the updated version is kind useless and I can't even login right now.
Overall GS2 is a really good and close to excellent.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, thin, right size
Cons: Not high def, average speaker sound

This phone is really fast and light. Very smooth in operation and gives good batery backup.

Galaxy S2 For At&t a good but not great buy

I recently purchased the Galaxy S2 for At&t. After buying the phone i saw the S2 for some of the other carriers and there is a blatenly obvious difference...Screen Size. I have to admit that i felt a little cheated when the size of my screen was smaller just because i didnt buy the skyrocket version. The performance of my S2 is great and everything else is up to par except the ICS update being dragged out for months instead of offering it upfront.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: poor speaker quality when playing music

Great phone at&t hobbles it a little

AT&T messes with the google sync and removes nice features like samsung dive and nfc but the samsung side of the phone is awesome would reccomend it to anyone even at&t users.

My best phone yet...

This is a great phone (handheld computer!) It would take pages to write all that is good about this phone so I will instead focus on the negatives... but don't forget that I gave this five stars.
This might seem silly to some but one of the features that I looked forward too with this phone was the built in FM receiver that hasn't been used yet. Had one in a phone years ago and used it a lot while doing yard work, etc.
Battery life could be better, as well as, the heat generated by the battery is excessive at times.
Wish I could have chosen a white version.
At&t is frustrating with its bloat ware and lack of software updates, and I've updated Kies a few times and as of right now it tells me it can't update OS through it. I assume there will be an update to one or the other to allow ICS update when the time comes. But, that is an assumption.

this phone is great its super quick browser pages load almost instantly with the 4g gaming is flawless watching videos is super crisps only complaints i have is that samsung is very slow at updating their products where is 4.0.3 already!!!!!!

I love Samsung! So when this phone came out i upgraded to it... i already had the Samsung Captivate but it was slow and it had gliches her and there but it was a great phone. This phone gives me everything i need and more i seriously recommend it... N im seriously just a college student with nothing but samsung lol XD
