I was a little worried about getting the phone since I had been a long time iPhone user. However, I have absolutely zero regrets changing over. It has taken a little while to get used to the features of the Android, but the phone is very user friendly. I do like the look of email on the iPhone more than on the galaxy though. Overall, very happy that I made the switch though.
considering i had the htc aria before, this is a great improvement! it runs fast with the dual-core processor, 1GHZ. It has a nice large screen, very bright, and colorful/vibrant colors. besides the at&t connection being terrible, it seems to run great via the wi-fi connection. i love the HD 1080 video/picture quality. would highly recommend this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, big screen
Well yes it can but believe it can. But the battery life on the sgh-i777 is much worse than the iPhone. I suspect that some of the apps that I will miss moving to this phone will pop up at some point. At some point I also hope the Android OS gets enough polish to use the screen real estate better and the icons don't look so clunky which is a typical issue with X.
Samsung-You must come out with a case/battery combo for this phone for heavy users! I know it will add bulk but I can live with that, having no juice to use it after as little as 5 hours I can't.
I switched from an iPhone 3GS and couldn't be happier. I love the larger screen and expandable memory. I am still trying to get used to the android platform and get the phone customized just how I want it, but so far I am satisfied.
