Superb Smart Phone

This phone is very fast has so many features and options. Can do a lot. Love the expansion slot for more memory. Face detection security is great. Definitely worth the money.

Galaxy SII still competes

I purchased the Galaxy SII in hopes of finding a reliable smart phone with new possibilities and features. What I found was untapped possibility. The Dual Core processor and speed of the phone adds capability to the model that keeps up with next generation phones. From a modding perspective the Galaxy SII has been fantastic. I have overclocked it to 1.6Ghz while watching movies / tv shows and am impressed at the frame rate / small increase in device heat. The only downside would being the last group of customers to receive ICS 4.0 .. but even then, easy modding to a custom rom.
Aside from performance, the design and ergonomics of the phone are great. a large touch HD screen makes it easy to send texts / navigate the phone without the hassles of a physical keypad. The sleek design of the phone / thinness make it easy to grab on the go for a work out etc. 5/5 for the SGSII

The best cell phone I have ever owned!

When I started looking for a Smart Phone, I looked at several. I looked at iPhone, decided they were more hype than they were worth (my wife has one and I just don't think they are worth the money Apple is demanding, I might add neither is Samsung's new S III). I ended up buying a ZTE Merit and a Motorola Defy, both Androids. I wasn't totally happy with either. Then I found this Samsung S2 Epic and I love it. I really like the Android operating system and the function of this phone itself. I would trade it for one thing, a Samsung S III. But I wouldn't be willing to pay any more for it. This was a great job on the handheld, thanks Samsung, it is appreciated.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, cutomizable
Cons: needs better battery life

Great Phone

I love this phone. Does everything I need it to do plus more. I really like the fact that it's loud. I can always hear my phone ring now. It has a nice size screen and very light. The battery is ok, could be better (but then again what phone couldn't use a better battery).
