just recently bought this phone to replace a broken Captivate... i cried the day that thing bricked and cursed Samsung the day i found out it was a faulty batch number... but im an idiot and loves these freaking phones. so i bought the galaxy s 2 and have had it about a week. needless to say its nearly 4 times faster then my old cappy and the image quality is amazingly smoother. as well as the amazing touch response that beats even the best iPhone any day! the sound quality is a little below that of my fiances sony xperia but is still very clean audio quality. 4g networks are not available in my town but am running on the slightly slower network. love the newest gorilla glass that makes the screen even stronger and makes the touch that much better. love the phone so far, hopefully no problems in the future
My last Samsung phone was awesome (and this was before the smartphone thing had really taken off) iPhone didn't exist yet neither did Android. But this phone just blew me away. I will be returning to Samsung for my next phone purchase.
this is a must have phone! att 4g works so great on it, the screen is great and hi-def,boots up in 10 seconds, great android market 16 gigs on it and extra 32 gb if you want to add add a micro sd card.this phone will not crash on you . so good.and with all share on the phone it will play videos , music, photos on your ps3 or xbox 360 via wifi.
The visual experience is excellent, until the back-light starts fading. In one month I have gone through 3 phones, the first 2 were DOA, could not get activated (even when changing batteries and sim cards). The 3rd phone lasted almost 1 month, then just did not want to work...no sound...no visual. Now on my 4th phone, I find that this one actually works and I love it. It is fast, accurate (actually does the programs I touch to activate), the sound is excellent, works very well with my Bluetooth. Now I am excited to learn everything about it. I love the Kies sync, works like a charm. I love to "Tango". No longer am I disappointed. Just wish I didn't have to go through so many phones to get one to work properly.
This is my first Smartphone We upgraded from BB's > I use my Phone of Work and play - the only Ding is the battery, but given how much I do with this device it is no wonder the battery is used up so quickly < overall this is not a problem but if Your out on the road a lot you may want to Bring a spare battery if your really Remote as I am from time to time...
This phone is amazing and I will never go back to BB. I have had the phone for about 5 days – honestly took me a bit of time to convert but inside of a few hours I was using for everything I needed to and Learning more every day. The Screen is amazing and the features are everything I need and more. I have very seldom used my laptop PC in the 5 days I have had this phone and mostly to transfer data to the phone I use routinely and Sync up contacts and Calendar.
I highly recommend this phone for anyone going to upgrade
BTW- my close relatives have HTC and Apple Phones and want to use mine all the time now… I think that pretty much says it all
