Title says it all. Everything that was wonderful in the galaxy s1 phones stayed the same and all the problems with the first have been replaced by a fully functional awesome phone!
Outstanding phone. Old phone was a iPhone 3G and I selected the Galaxy S2 over the iPhone 4S and I am not looking back. Many more options for this phone with expandable MircoSD and the Mod community for alternative Android releases. I have been able to find Android equivalent apps for all my needs (Travel, Trading, Music, Video). A surprise has been the wider selection of free apps and I do like the App store return policy even it it is only 15 mins.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, android app store
Cons: would like to see higher resolution
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Samsung Galaxy S II is by far the best smartphone I've ever used. It is extremely fast and is enjoyable to use. Picture and video quality is like nothing I've ever seen before. The screen is just the right size--not too big, but not too small. Moreover, I expected it to be much heavier, but it is extremely lightweight. The screen is also very vibrant and colors are richer, but clarity could be better. While some may say the build quality feels low/poor, I must disagree. Scrolling through home menus and navigating web pages/games is simple with the SGSII. I have, however, experienced some minor freezing of the phone. Overall, it is fantastic.
Has everything you need... and way better than iphone 4!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, features
Cons: battery cover quality feels cheap
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Phone, Battery Life Info

The phone itself is excellent! If you read other site's specs on the phone, an FM Radio is mentioned. I can't find it. To improve battery life, switch off packet data. Turn on when you know you'll be using. Comfortable to hold! Easy to maneuver! Micro SD Card is only accessible when battery is removed, the Captivate did not have this issue. Camera and LED flash work great! 1080P video is awesome!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, easy to hold and maneuver
Cons: poor micro sd card placement
I would recommend this to a friend!

After using a plethora of devices including iPhone and Sony Ericsson P series and Blackberry, I finally moved into the Android zone with the Samsung Galaxy SII. Boy, am I surprised? The speed, the display crispness, the flexibility of the OS, the performance of the camera and video - just about everything blows me away. This phone is not called the iPhone beater for nothing. I do not know if I would ever go back to the iPhone! Android is way too classy, Samsung Galaxy SII makes it stellar! PS: I still have to figure out a way to extend battery life. But I will get there... :-)
