I just switched from my Samsung Captivate to the Galaxy S2, at first I could not make my mind about the size of the phone. It is definitely bigger than the other one yet one thing I thought was really needed on the Captivate was a better camera with led flash. Yet when I received it, it was a great decision. The performance overall is better, specially with the new feature of Power Savings, which could be a life saver if you are running on low battery yet you still need to have some features on, like your bluetooth or tethering hotspot. I like home editing options to add widgets and notification bubbles when you get new SMS or missed calls. I wish the phone could have a bit more customizations on the notification icons, to have more than 5 options up there for ease of access and not have to rely on desktop widgets to get things done, and more options on the lock screens.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, motion features
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really like this phone, and the features on the phone also.
I recently switched from a BlackBerry and the internet, apps, pics, all are far supperior. I am a bit disapointed with battery life and email functionality. If you are using this phone for business that requires a lot of email, it can be a bit frustrating at times. I receive 50+ emails daily that require immediate attention and this is the only area that Blackberry is superior.
For a handset with such a broad range of standout features and specs, the Samsung Galaxy S II is remarkably easy to summarize. It's the best Android smartphone yet, but more importantly, it might well be the best smartphone, period. If you're asking what smartphone to buy today, unconstrained by such externalities, the Galaxy S II would be the clear choice. Sometimes it's just as simple as that.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

I had an iPhone for a long time and I'm so glad that I've switched to Galaxy SII. The phone is amazing, and way better in use, it more fun to do this on it then it was on iPhone. I also like that I can flash ROM or install 3rd party app, and I'm also able to have adobe flash now ! The battery life is kinda an issue but only because the screen is sooooooooooooooo BIG ! I love the big screen and watching movies on my phone it's just great.
