Recently renewed my contract with AT&T and got this phone. Loads of great features and the display is bright and vivid. Only problem I had was using Social Hub out of the box. I had some strange results with my contact list so I disabled Social Hub until they decide to fix it.
While in the market for a new phone I had narrowed my choices to the iPhone and the Galaxy S II. Being my first smart phone I wanted to make an educated choice. After reading and watching extensive reviews of both phones, I chose the Samsung Galaxy S II. It's speed, 8M camera, ease of use and graphics won me over, and being less money than the iPhone didn't hurt either.
Yet another reason Samsung makes NOT having an iPhone cool!

This is the second Samsung phone I have owned in the last year, the first was the Nexus S 4G. The quality of these phones is just astounding! I have owned a total of 5 Android phones now, and this is by far the absolute best one. Some of the Android phones have issues with screen sensitivity and function, I have never had problems with this on my Samsungs. The phone is fast, powerful and professional looking, it was provided by my employer who is a company with over 250,000 employees. This is the only AT&T Phone they support for their remote workforce. The phone is really light, sometimes I forget I have it in my pocket, the screen is sharp and bright. This phone rocks like Dokken and Slayer combined! :o)
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, sensitive screen, easy to use
the phone is smarter than me, so it will take more than one month to understand. First month, no bad surprises. No real concern about battery life as I manage that, but I purchased a spare battery in case. Would like it if the back seemed more robust, with some kind of water sealing... but that's a design perhaps not intended. Great screen, good speaker and no connectivity issues. Will update after more use. Light weight, actually would have preferred a slightly smaller screen just for carrying purposes. Trade offs I suppose.
good phone i would like more control of customization, other than that phone works well.plus it would be niced to move apps from one phone to another without having to remember all of them.
