Excellent hardware with above average Software

Have been using GS2 for 6+ months. No complains about the hardware (cpu, camera, storage, screen, etc.) The only thing is the back cover is kind of slippy, at lease for me. I can't get a firm grip when using one hand holding the phone and pressing the unlock code. Problem solved by adding a rubber case.
TouchWiz is above average and I really like to side to side scroll instead of the up and down like other brand. The only problem I have is the Samsung App - Media Hub. The stock one worked perfectly fine and the video contect was really good. But the updated version is kind useless and I can't even login right now.
Overall GS2 is a really good and close to excellent.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, thin, right size
Cons: Not high def, average speaker sound

iPhone to Android

I was an avid iPhone user and decided to give Android a try, naturally I went with a Samsung for their product reputation and the reliability of the Samsung products I also own.
Although I have only owned the product for a couple of weeks I can already see it start to out shine the iPhone and I will have to wait for the ICS update to know.
I can say I am not disappointed with the product and I would definitely recommend to a friend.

I love my Samsung Galaxy SII. The speeds of the phone are amazing. The only downfall I have experienced is that the battery does not last very long. I cannot go the entire day without needing some form of charging.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Best dependable friend

I have had this Smart Phone since 10/11 all apps are cool and downloads are effective. However, some music files previously loaded will not play on this phone :( The files come up as DCF files instead of MP3. I need advice on how to change the files back to MP3. Other than that, I love my phone dearly.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: need better speakers

I was a iPhone user for years and my wife had a samsung and I decided to try it. I am very happy with the device. The software is very good just a good as an iPhone. I am very happy with this device.
