I have had several different smart phones, and I have to say this one beats them all hands down! What a great phone! Wait, it's more like a great computer you hold in your hand. It's quick, precise, and with the functionality you would expect from a company like Samsung! You can't go wrong with this one!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

I'm coming from a iphone 4,and this phone bests it in everyway possible.Better camera,smoother and much faster browsing,a incredibly clear and vivid screen that blows away the retina display.This is the best purchase I made in a long time.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, crazy fast, super camera
Cons: none!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best phone I've ever had, PERIOD! First time I get a phone with only one con (charging time). Everything else is brilliant!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, cameras, extremely fast, extremely smooth
Cons: takes very long to charge

I used to have a Samsung Infuse 4g. I really liked it but it kept shutting down because it didnt have enough RAM for all the multitasking I was doing. So I returned it and got the Samsung Galaxy 2 and I love it. It is so much faster and it seems like there is no delay for anything. So far I have had zero problems with this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I've been a big fan of the competiion however the Galaxy IIs attracted me with its dual core and battery life. Once powered on, I was hooked. Its sleek, fast, and beautiful.
Pros: Lightweight, battery life, application & os speed, screen

battery dead only after one month!

I got the samsung galaxy s2 in mid January. I was happy with the phone and to be honest the phone was amazing. However, after only a month the battery is dead. The phone would need 5 hrs to full charge and it run of of battery in a few hrs without being used( idle). last night it completed charging at 4am (charge full cycle from 10% to 100%). i want to sleep at 5am. I had the alarm set at 10am however it never did. i checked the phone it was off! and thats was at 10:30. so must be it run out of battery sometime between (7am-9am) which make the charging time greater than the idle time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only had it for three hours but am amazed. As the guy sent out to find a path through a minefield said...so far so good.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, truly amazing!
Cons: none so far
