It is hard to believe the power in the GS2 handset. The dual core 1.2 Ghz processor shreds through everything in it's path. Everything about the phone is buttery smooth. I continue to be blown away by the voice recognition. I type very little on my phone. The accuracy of the recognition is amazing. The GS2 also supports a large number of voice commands. This thing will literally play 1080p video on a monitor with a cheap hdmi adapter cord. It also records 1080p video and takes excellent photos. It synchronizes and coordinates all my email and social network activity. It's seamlessly linked to the Google cloud and is literally like having a super computer in your hands. I rarely pull out my laptop nowadays as the phone has taken over the the role of personal organizer, web communcator, email accessing and when I'm feeling really lazy, the occasional netflix film all around media powerhouse. I continue to be blown away. Sure, faster processors will come along, and surely a new bell and whistle or 2, that's the nature of product development and turnover. Still I can't imagine a time when this phone will become obsolete. I'm perfectly content, for as long as it lasts, and hope that is a very long time.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, very fast, removable battery, micro usb to hdmi 1080p output.

An Amazing device

The samsung galaxy s2 is an amazing device, in this device are combine all the best characteristics of the hardware, I think that the thing where samsung can improve the experience is in the interface (Touchwiz)

This thing is amazingly fast. It comes with Gingerbread, I'm still trying to update. Don't take m wrong, there's absolutely nothing wrong with Gingerbread.

I am in love with my phone the only thing more id want is maybe a note and id prob just get a tablet i love love my phone i use everything on it i love my front cam for skypin my momma and friend and can't speak enough of it and i love netflix on it and ive had it since feb and i learn a little more it can do everyday......... you need a phone get this one!!! AWESOME@!!! Seems to be durable so far but i would never dare carry it without a case and i have a very thick case and so far awesome!!!

I have owned this phone for a WHILE.
I now own it's brother, the GT-I9100. I got the SGH-i777 as soon as AT&T made it available.
All the features in this phone are a 5* rating.
I have NEVER encountered an issue with the phone, camera is great, battery is amazing, 4G speeds are great, Quadrant Standard ratings are off the charts, etc...
This phone doesn't compare to any out there.
Even better than Galaxy Nexus.
