great phone some games crash on it but that has nothing to with the phone it self thats the apps that the other companies put out it is withstanding my 13 month old grabbing it and throwing it down flights of stairs i have a full crack in the screen at the bottom clear across the phone and the phone still functions amazingly my son threw it down a flight of stairs outside and it landed on gravel rocks walked over and i picked up the phone wiped off the dirt and dust and to my astonishment the phone was still on and the screen was not shattered just a crack in the screen but even with that the phone still works like brand new i work in a factory and the phones get beat up and around heat and machines all day constantly being dropped and hit in my pocket and my phone looks like it went to war and came back with a purple heart this product is the most durible phone i have ever had i love samsung products
I rocked this phone for nearly a year. Even when the Skyrocket came out I resisted and I wasn't disappointed. This phone would outperform the Skyrocket in every metric. Truly the best device Samsung has manufactured since.
Excellent design. Based on experience with Macbook Pro, iPod Touch and iPad 2, getting the correct user information is more difficult, especially concerning difference between different levels of Android. No single source to find user help. Frustrating at times. That said, device & O/S is very configurable, but it's not always easy to find the correct settings to change. Bought phone for PDA capabilities. Picked it over iPhone for its screen size (4.3" vs 3.5").
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, good for viewing photos.
I bought my gs2 almost a year ago right when it came out. Since then it has become an integral part of my life. With the recent ICS Android update I'm able to manage all of my crazy life. The hardware runs just about any app and can keep up with all I throw at it. I would suggest you buy this phone, but then again you could buy the gs3.
