Good, but the Skyrocket is better

I bought the Galaxy S2 a month ago to replace my iPhone 3GS. The Galaxy was instantly faster and didn't cost me a ton of money for apps off the get go. I was very impressed and still am except for the fact that the Skyrocket version came out so fast. I have both phones now. I gave the Galaxy to my wife to replace her Infuse. We are both extremely happy with our phones.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had the phone for about 3 weeks and find it a lot of fun, this is my first android phone. A lot of reviews complained about the size, but for this size of the display, this is not a problem. I love the love large screen as I am a senior citizen. I do wish it did not have so many installed apps.
Pros: Bright display, camera
Cons: too many apps i will not use
I would recommend this to a friend!

great phone but google needs to step it up

I replaced an aging blackberry with this phone. It is a huge change. Still getting used to touchscren typing after 45 days. Google needs to program a "Mark all as sent" button on email, my biggest complaint but that is an Android problem, a big one to me and part of why I took one star away from the overall rating.
Phone itself is fast, has exceptional phone clarity, stable call environment (AT&T), screen clarity is beautiful, music sounds good for a phone, camera and video outstanding, including sound recording, fast shutter for a phone, still not a camera though.
Visual voice mail is a cool interface for voice mail. Contacts dont synch with MS Outlook, which is the other reason I give it 4 vs 5 stars. Basically forces you to convert to Google calendar, gmail, everything which takes some getting used to. I'd still like to synch with outlook on my desktop but people dont work together anymore for their mutual customers.
Overall a great phone with the touch screen typing, no outlook synch and no "mark all as read" the only drawbacks I see. Can't wait for the LTE network to come to NY on ATT so I can benefit from that.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, fast speed, call clarity, camera and video superb, visual voice mail
Cons: no "mark all as read", no outlook synch
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a wonderful phone, but the battery, well, leaves a lot to be desired. I know all the tricks to conserve, but it's still doesn't meet my expectations.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: short battery life
