I have had many android handsets and a few samsung handsets as well, Galaxy S, Nexus S and now the SGS2 and let me tell you this is the best phonr I have ever had, the functionality, ease of use and speed are all excellent. The package is light and thin with an amazing screen and above average battery life even with a lot of use!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, thin, good battery, excellent camera, great functionality with touch wiz, good built in storage, lag free
I would recommend this to a friend!

The phone is the best I've ever owned. Not only does it give me the freedom to change whatever I want (font, screens, etc..) I can also take screenshots, resize my widgets and so much more without having to 'break' it. I love love love how light the phone is and so thin. I put my phone in my back pocket always and this fits perfectly! Incredible phone....Incredible operating system...Incredible camera....just incredible!
Well yes it can but believe it can. But the battery life on the sgh-i777 is much worse than the iPhone. I suspect that some of the apps that I will miss moving to this phone will pop up at some point. At some point I also hope the Android OS gets enough polish to use the screen real estate better and the icons don't look so clunky which is a typical issue with X.
Samsung-You must come out with a case/battery combo for this phone for heavy users! I know it will add bulk but I can live with that, having no juice to use it after as little as 5 hours I can't.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Short battery life is the only drawback Ive found with my i777...so far! I'm having fun learning to master it.
As with most new tool, there is a love-hate relationship at first. I love the features and capability of the phone. I don't love the execution. The touch screen requires "swiping" to perform some simple tasks - like answering a call - which can make one-handed operation difficult. The voice command really needs some help. I speak clearly and without accent, but the system can not detect the difference between Deven and Thelma when voice dialing.
Overall it is a terrific appliance and I love the display, adaptability, etc. I just wish it were easier to use ;-(
