If only kies air worked...

This phone has been great in almost every area- looks, performance, graphics, camera, picture quality, etc.. The only problem I have with it is that I can't seem to connect with Kies Air to my computer..
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: kies air

So far this phone changed the way I looked at mobile phones! I have been a blackberry and iPhone user for quite some time now. I steer away from android phones because of cheapness in design, performance, and over all quality. However, this phone exceeded my expectations! The specs are up there, the design - flawless, it is blazing fast! and the screen is just awesome! This phone is not just a phone, it acts like a tablet/computer! The fact that I can fully customize it including fonts is just perfect! I look at it and it looks sexy, manly on the outside, but once you open it, you will see my cursive font and gorgeous live wallpaper! Camera controls are also wonderful, better than the iPhone 4s. My husband who bought the 4s has been using my phone to play games and watch youtube because of the S-AMOLED screen! This is the phone for me! One flaw I guess is the battery life. I find that I have to charge it every night regardless of the amount of usage. The battery lasts the whole day/night though. I guess I can always bring the charger or.. get a spare battery - which by the way you can't do with the 4s! I love this phone every day, I am learning something new! :) Thanks Samsung.

Fantastic Phone

I couldn't wait to get this phone. Coming from a tilt2 win6.5 phone to this is like night and day. Super fast, excellent screen, thin and light. Like a desktop computer in the pocket. Check my bank, read the newspapers anything goes. Camera with flash is outstanding. My son keeps bragging about his iphone, but I don't see anything that this phone can't do as well and better in many cases. The voice controls work and I have even mastered the swype. (I'm 63).
Would have been nice to have the NFC to futurize it and was disappointed the fm radio wasn't there.

I've been a loyal Apple customer up until a few weeks ago. I have owned all iphone devices as well as several other apple products. After I watched the live coverage of the keynote about the new iPhone, I was upset to say the least. Everyone pretty much including myself was expected a redesign, larger screen, among other new features. So I decided the samsung galaxy S2 was the only way to go. I have not looked back since. Initally I was unsure about android because I had not used it before, however I absolutely love the true power you have over the OS, as well as the ability to customize just about everything to make a fantastic polished looking OS that personally IOS can not even begin to compete with.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def

AWESOME PHONE

Came out of an Iphone 4 and wanted a better phone with more options! This phone by far exceeds all expectaitions. The battery life is good once you train the battery 2 -3 times by draining and fully charging lasts me 12 hours off of one charge no problem!

iPhone replaced - NO REGRETS

I thought I was carrying a top-tier device with the iPhone in my pocket. When io5 didn't happen I went shopping for a 4G phone and found the Galaxy S2. WOW!! I have been using "Bag Phone" technology compared to this thing. It has real colors, real speed, real sound, etc. Samsung gets my first look if I ever decide to replace this marvel.

Cons: cases cables and other periferals hard to find.

I finally switched from Windows Mobile to an Android phone. I'm amazed at the amount of Apps available for this phone!
The Galaxy SII is super fast for web surfing, video playback is Awesome, the large screen and SUPER AMOLED display give beautiful crisp, clean,bright, vibrant colors. This is the BEST Phone that I have ever owned.
Only two minor downsides one is hardware related and the other is Android. The phone lacks an actual FM radio, but there is a good streaming App, TuneIn Radio that gets most local stations and hundreds of Nation wide stations.
The Android Os lacks the ability to import MS Mobile Notepad files to a readable version, also it is difficult, but not impossible to import bookmarks from WinMo to Android, but these are not the fault of the Galaxy SII. It's ONE GREAT PHONE!

Phone is a first purchase Samsung phone for me, the Galaxy line has long been an intrest for me, now i finally made the jump and aboslutely love it.
