I loved it so much I purchased another one for my friend and her young son. Great Quality, Simple Recipes, and Delicious! Love the fact that you can make lower calorie ice cream, along with Yogurt and Sherbert. This is a WONDERFUL Machine, and lots of FUN. Saves money on store bought ice cream and you actually get better quality ice cream at a Very AFFORDABLE Price !... You know exactly what you are eating when you make it yourself!!!! I give this 5☆'s and HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing one for yourself AND someone else.

It's not as fun and easy as it seems, my granddaughter and I both got a little frustrated and fed up with the process. I would like to return it but I think too much time has passed. Don't think I will be using it often.

Disappointed. Used the machine 3 - 4 times for summer picnics and the gears in the top cover and clicking and paddles are not moving now. Looked for replacement top to find its $45!! Look elsewhere for a proper Ice Cream maker.

While my wife and I like the Cuisinart ICE-45 Mix It In Soft Ice Cream Maker as far as having your soft ice cream in a bowl but as far as having a soft ice cream cone we have a different opinion as my wife doesn't really care and I do like them. For the price you pay for this soft ice cream maker I would give it a solid 4 stars. I did buy a second 1 1/2 qt freezer bowl when I made the order and I am glad for that as it takes the freezer bowl overnight to freeze the bowl again after each use. It takes a while to get the mixture of the mix of powder and water right plus mixing time for getting the consistency right for putting in a cone or bowl. We finally ended up with 1 1/2 cups of mix to 2 3/4 cups of water and mixing between 22 to 25 minutes here in the Pacific Northwest. I am sure with the different climates in the area's people live this may not work. Our next option is trying the waffle bowl as might being the better solution than ice cream cones. Overall we both like the Quisinart ICE-45 Soft Ice Cream Maker.

This is a huge machine…..I have to keep mine in the garage. The ice cream is great but it started coming out the side of the dispenser point……not sure what it was but maybe one of the add ins was too big. Will try again with plain vanilla.

My grandkids loved the Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker. The ice cream was delicious and the mix ins worked perfectly. My problem with the machine is that the when the ice cream is the right consistency to dispense, within a few minutes it becomes too thick.

Makes the most delicious, fresh ice cream we’ve ever had. Love it! I was concerned about another “one use” appliance into our home. My son got it for his 12th birthday. He loves soft serve and gelato. This is easy for him to use with the recipes it comes with - and clean up is pretty simple. We freeze the left over soft serve and it becomes delicious hard scoop ice cream. Lots of fun. Mix-in contraption is fun but messy ( seems to go everywhere)
