I don't like the way the piece that holds the cutter heads always seems loose. And it must always be replaced in the same position after removal for cleaning. I have a ten year old Norelco, model 4852XL on which the head piece can be rotated AND it is still snug after all these years.
Also, the new one is so quiet that it is un-nerving in that it gives the impression that it never gets up to speed.
P.S. I still miss my 1965 GMC pick-up truck.

It is OK, but does not have a means of trimming side-burns

I like the razor as far as its performance is concerned; however, it does not have any means of trimming side-burns. I have another Norelco razor that does have the feature of a pop-up side-burns trimmer.
Cons: no means of trimming side-burns

I miss having the trimmer. Been using norelco razors for fifty years and have no second thoughts of using anything else. The razor is dependable but does not seem to be as powerfull and give a close shave as my previous razors.

This corded shaver is very smooth, quiet, and gentle, since the blade mechanism flexes and bends with the contours of your face. It does not produce razor burn, so it works well.

I used to use electric razors, but last yea switched to blades. Enough of that. I wanted a good basic razor, and the 1100 is perfect for my needs. Being able to rinse it clean in the sink (UNPLUGGED) is an excellent feature. I used it twenty minutes after delivery, and am quite happy with the results.
Pros: rinses clean in sink
Cons: dd not come with any sort of case

This shaver is quiet while giving a smooth close shave. The only issues I found were a tendency for the chord to pull out while shaving and the lack of a trimmer.

I one am extremely satisfied with my new Phillips Electric Razor. I have had this same product for many years and I keep going back for more of the same. It is just as cheap to buy a new electric razor each time instead of new blades because the cost is the same.
