The pan worked great at first but after a few months things started to stick when cooking on it even when using oil. I bought this pan even though it was more expensive thinking it would not stick like other pans. Its still a good pan, I guess I just had higher expectations.

I purchased this to replace another skillet. It cleans very easily. The main thing I have used it for so far is scrambled eggs. Still haven't mastered cooking them without some sticking.

The GreenGourmet 10" skillet overall is an excellent kitchen pan; only problem I have a rust area on the skillet handle. I have already recienved a replacment pan from Cuisinart.

For years I have used nonstick pots and pans. They are always nice to start out with, but after several years of constant use, they start showing there age. I did short-order for a while and got used to stainless pans, the only problem is that it can take a long time to build up a true nonstick surface, something many home users don't know how to do. My experiment with Stainless cookware, was less than fun. Commercial pots and pans, not that triple clad stuff, is expensive. I decided to go ceramic, and after doing a lot of research, I chose the Cuisinart GG-12 GreenGourmet Hard-Anodized Nonstick 12-Piece Cookware Set. I was really impressed with it's cooking characteristics. Lower heat because of good heat retention. Easy cleanup, and of course the nonstick properties. The set doesn't contain a 10" or 12" fry pan. After getting this 12" Skillet I could do a pot roast on the stovetop. I had a lid that fit perfectly. I missed having a 10" skillet, that arrived today, and rounds out my set. I saw reviews, that claimed these pans will peel, the only conclusion I can reach, is that the pans were heated to the high temps sometimes used with cast iron. These pans deliver a great sear on steaks and burgers, without needing that high a temperature. I've used them for 2 months, I'm very satisfied so far. If my opinion changes, I will update this in the future.

Non-stick surface is not robust. Apparently the use of PAM spray will degrade the surface. My skillet was sticking after 5-6 weeks of very light use. PAM spray is a very common cooking aid and should have been part of the performance evaluation when this "Green" skillet surface was designed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
