Useless junk

This is the 3rd one we have tried. Freezes every 5 mins. I finally just got Netflix set up just in time for it to freeze. Remote won't power off, even downloaded the phone remote app and it does nothing to help. Supposed to be able to access Hulu but can't. It is not even worth a paper weight or door stop. Everyone we tried does the same thing. Negative stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as advertised

I bought this because it specifically claimed to support Hulu. It does not. There is no manual supplied with the player, so you have to come here and download it. There is virtually nothing written to explain the use of the "Premiums" as they put it. No way to download new apps. Useless.

Very unhappy with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this player to hook up to the internet using an older TV. It kept freezing up. I would need to unplug it and then restart it to stream Netflix. Now It comes up with an error message and will not stream at all. I then tried to play a DVD in it and the remote will not work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor DVD player

I have had problems with this player from the first week. I have to unplug and plug back in the power to get it to eject the disk about every 4th or 5th time.
Every time I go to play a DVD the on screen prompt to set up wifi pops up 5 or 6 times. It sill even pop up aside am watching the DVD. Like this model up on line it said it came with hulu it did not and there is no way to add it. This is just a couple of the problems with this player.

I purchased this item in exchange for the chromecast--by far the best investment. I love it. Along with the purchase of the LG 42" the picture quality is remarkable.

Does not stream

I bought this solely to stream TV shows on Hulu. I though for the extra money it would be worth having an all in one machine instead of just a streaming stick. I'll be returning this tomorrow and going back to plan A with the streaming stick. It will not stream and if it does get an episode open it buffers every 5 seconds .I know its not a problem with my WiFi or anything. I have another WiFi blue ray player set up and a Wii u set up running Hulu just fine. It also runs very slow at start up and the remote seems to be delayed as well. Very disappointed in this purchase.

Works great on local media bad on NAS

Picked this up a few weeks ago and even though it says DLNA certified it will not see files on NAS. Same files will play fine when on a USB drive.
