I bought this unit for a spare bedroom where I keep foster cats and litter boxes with the hope that it would eliminate odors and dander. However, Ive also found that since i started using it, that it's improving the air quality in my bedroom as well. I was using an inhaler nightly for asthma and allergies before the purchase. Ii haven't needed it in weeks. Recommended to another friend who purchased immediately and has noticed improvements with her breathing as well.

This machine is quiet and efficient. It is amazing the amount of dust and particles this machine collects. We have noticed a marked improvement in our allergies.

I had a very old purifier from 1989 and loved it. I would still have it if I could find filters. I used that purifier until 2016. Because I had such a great experience I purchased 2 new ones. I must say I'm disappointed in the flimsy construction especially the door to change the filters. It wouldn't take much to simply snap off. The purifiers do work well but I guess I was spoiled with heavier plastic construction from years ago.

Way too noisy

Fire hazard

About an inch above the LCD screen, a spot becomes very hot and the plastic turned yellow. Fire hazard?
