After many years of service, our Holmes Air Purifier needed to be replaced. After doing some research and actually purchasing and returning another model, we purchased this model again. You can't beat it for quality and sound. I wouldn't buy any other model or brand and I speak from years of using it. I purchased it again and that speaks volumes.

Seemed great, but doesnt work

I bought this air filter because we have a fireplace, which has a very smoky smell. Unfortunately, this filter does not work. It has not improved the smell, and it is very loud. Even the lowest setting is very loud because the engine is very loud. I strongly regret this purchase and hope there is some way I can return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
