Moves a lot of air, I live with a smoker and a cat and my allergies were always acting up, but since I purchased this unit I have no more allergies and can't even smell smoke when I come in the house, people don't even realize I live with a smoker, truly an amazing product! Also I dust less!

Fairly quite except on setting 4. Easy set up. We could start felling the effects in a couple of hours. Well satisfied. We have one in the family room and one in our bedroom.

I originally purchased from someone other than Holmes, but the motor made a ticking noise and I tried to return to the store but they would not take back. So I called Holmes and explained my problem the only two question they asked me what was the code on the plug and my shipping address. Within a few days I received the replacement unit and for me to dispose of the other unit. that was over 5+ years ago and it has run 24/7 since. My wife had always suffered with sinus problems in the spring and fall since purchasing and running it all the time she has no problems. Another benefit our place has a lot less dust as we do not have to dust as often. You can spend a lot more money but this unit does the job and is rated good by consumers report. for our family we do our filter purchases etc from Holmes you can not beat the customer service or the quality of the product

This is my second unit. Bought a bigger house and need another one. Have one over 10 years. I can really tell the difference with one downstairs and one on the second floor. I like the night setting when I sleep.
