I have been using Holmes HEPA filters in my home for years and am very pleased with their performance and ability to remove allergens and odors. I run them 24 hours a day in my living room and bedroom without materially impacting my electricity bill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a larger air purifier because, yes, we know it's not good, but we smoke in our home. This unit knocks it down and out quickly. The unit is a wee bit louder than I expected, but it's a trade off, and we have it placed so it doesn't overwhelm the area with noise.

I bought this Holmes product because of previous positive purchase. I bought the larger model but medium would have been fine. My husband and I share a small space in a senior residential facility where there is high wind and dust from a close by cement plant. I regret giving my old small. one away.
