HAS ANNOYING MOTOR HUM NOISE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product does a good job of filtering air in a large room. It moves a lot of air which is vital. I bought this model 2 years ago and it was quiet. So i just bought two more. But both of the new ones have an irritating electronic motor hum noise above and beyond the expected pleasant, soft sound of rushing air. I used to recommend product but no longer can.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice push button controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fan needs to be quieter. It is annoying , even in a large. Have smaller filter and it has an ozone generator. Why not one one the larger hepa filter. Bought it because whole house hepa filter was about $3000.00 when added to a/c system.

AH! Clean Air!!

I've had this product for four years. It has be in use 24/7 in a camping trailer at a hunting lease I use. Before I used this to clean the air my eyes would turn red and water when I would go to the trailer, making it hard to use my trailer. Now I can stay at the trailer without any problems.

Efficient and Effective

I've only had this air purifier a week but I've already noticed an improvement in my health. It's not a sleep miracle but I seem to be staying asleep longer. My asthma is subsiding some and my sinuses have opened up as well. I'll know more in the spring when grass pollen counts go up. It would be nice if it was a single filter unit but since it's not, why not make it easier for us and sell 3 pack filter sets? Anyhow, what's important to me is that it improves the quality of the air I breathe and limits the amount of household dust. It keeps my computers happy too. So far it seems to be doing what it's intended to do. I wouldn't run it on the highest setting in the same room I'm in. It does put out some noise as does every air purifier I've owned but I look at it as a dual purpose machine to some extent. It helps drown out the hustle and bustle of the
city.

Eliminates cigarette smoke odor

I have been running 2 of these (family room & kitchen) 16 hours per day for 6 years because there is a smoker in the house. Running on setting 3 all this time is a slight bit noisy but beats smelling smoke! They have been great. Just ordered two new ones in case these cease operation due to age.
