I purchased this Crockpot because of the size and was very happy the four times I used it. Until the ceramic pot broke in half while cooking. It occurred during the day when I was working. I am so grateful I didn't have a fire because the roast was charcoal when I got home.

I recently tried to put the stoneware in the oven as it had said it could be done on a certain temp. Let me tell you, don't do it! Mine cracked all over the place and now I am afraid to use the product now. Now I no longer am able to cook in mine due to the fact I am worried of it leaking or breaking on through and busting during cooking now.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize the stoneware broke. When placing the stoneware and food in the oven, we recommend putting it in a cold oven and then turning on the oven. Sudden temperature changes can damage the stoneware. For assistance, please feel free to contact us using the link below. For faster response time, we encourage you to live chat with us at the link below from 8:00am to 8:00pm, EST, Monday thru Saturday. You will need to click the Live Chat icon.

I purchased less than a month ago, noticed after the second time I used it i noticed a burning smell, I thought something had cooked out into the pan. I cleaned the metal pan and next time it was worse, the ceramic pot has a crack in it. The last crockpot I had lasted 7 years, I used it twice a week.

We're sorry to hear this was your experience using your new slow cooker. What you are describing is certainly abnormal, and would likely be considered a warranty concern. For further assistance, we would encourage you to contact us using the link provided below. Thank you.
My Mom had one, I have one, and now my young adult daughter has one! Trusted companion through time. Daughter wanted a 7qt, like Mom and Grandma. She had a fully functional 4qt "hand-me-down." Lots of competition out there, but I swore and swear by CROCK-POT. After visiting "brick and mortar" retailers, I convinced her she doesn't need the "digital" stuff. Keep it simple. warm, low, medium, high. After visiting various sites for the "best" price, I decided to go direct. Glad I did.! Easy navigation, great choices, price was same, and CONVENIENT. What the BONUS was the cookbook and the carrying case availability. All of it in just a few clicks! Prompt response to order, delivery status updates and delivery confirmation was particularly outstanding! The CROCK-POT cookbook is TERRIFIC! Who else could go it better? Delivery time was perfection during the Holiday season! Thank you!

SO disappointed!

I have owned three Crock Pots since 1978. They USED to be an excellent appliance for working families. My last Crock Pot lasted almost 23 years! The most recent one, the 7 qt, is a substandard product. It has three legs which makes this unit unsteady to slide, so do not do it. It's cheaply made and is a light construct, which when dealing with a ceramic pot, should be heavier. I liked this unit because of the original simplicity known with these appliances. I do not need programmable, wifi, bluetooth, or any other technology....what's the point? To put dinner in the Crock Pot before work and it be ready when I get home is still the best idea from Rival. Disappointed in this unit is an understatement.

I have had only 2 crockpots for about 40 years. YES, YES that many years and have LOVED, LOVED IT! Great meals I could always count on. Recently the 6 qt. Oval stoneware bowl cracked. So wanting and needing a new one I went shopping and looked for a new one. In reading reviews, many said it cooked too hot, but some didn't seem to have a problem. And because I loved it so much I decided to take a chance! The NEGATIVE REVIEWS WERE RIGHT. So sad , but you screwed up a great product. I guess in the name of more money. It wrecked a great meal my INSTANT POT COOKED PERFECTLY. BUT I WANTED A CROCKPOT! This is one very unhappy ex-customer!

Thank you for your feedback as it is greatly appreciated. Three feet is the most stable design you can have.
